Austrian Airlines company envelope mailed from Austria to the Hellenic Post Philatelic Service in Athens. The 7-schilling franking comprises two 50-groschen stamps depicting Vorau Abbey and the 6-schilling 1980 Europa–CEPT commemorative honouring Austrian composer Robert Stolz. The combined denomination paid the contemporary European letter rate. The airline’s distinctive illustrated envelope, showing a passenger aircraft and corporate emblem, reinforces the international character of the correspondence
