Electoral poster depicting Ioannis P. Leggeris, an Athenian merchant and candidate for the Municipal Council of Athens, apparently dating from 1907. Leggeris may also have participated in the organizational work connected with the 1906 Athens Intercalated Olympic Games, whose preparations were conducted during 1905–1906; however, this association requires documentary confirmation.
The poster provides valuable contemporary evidence of his commercial standing and involvement in Athenian public life immediately following the internationally successful Games.
