May 1953 airmail letter from Kavala to Mytilene,
addressed to lawyer Dimitrios Th. Dimitriou. The 3,600-drachma
mixed franking, applied on the reverse, comprises a 600d Hippocrates stamp,
a 1,000d Monastery of Saint John on Patmos and two 1,000d King Paul
commemoratives. Kavala departure cancellations tie the stamps, while Athens
transit and Mytilene arrival datestamps document routing through the capital. A violet PAR AVION handstamp appears on the front.
