30 September 1920 – Domestic letter from Siderokastron, Macedonia, to Athens, franked on the reverse with two 10-lepta red Hermes definitives. The 20-lepta total correctly paid the intercity letter rate for the first 15 grams, introduced on 3 July 1920. Both stamps were tied by the Siderokastron circular datestamp; the Athens Central arrival machine cancellation, dated 2 October 1920, records a two-day transit. The unusual placement of the complete franking on the reverse and the clearly struck provincial departure datestamp make this a representative early interwar domestic-rate cover.
