Greek commercial cover sent in September 1919 from Athens to the Handelsaktiebolaget Nicolai Johannsen company in Stockholm, Sweden.
Franked with a blue 25-lepta Iris definitive stamp, tied by Athens “ΚΕΝΤΡΙΚΟΝ” postal cancellations. The cover was opened and resealed by the Greek censorship authorities with a bilingual “CENSURE HELLÉNIQUE / ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΛΟΓΟΚΡΙΣΙΑ” censor label and bears the circular censor control mark “20”.
The reverse carries the printed sender’s inscription “Calothetos & Natarides – Athens” and two clear Stockholm arrival postmarks dated 27 September 1919.
