Large illustrated airmail cover of the Dental Association of Attica, Athens, prepared for the International Congress of Preventive Dentistry.
Franked with a 2.50-drachma Greek stamp depicting the Theatre of Dionysus, cancelled at Athens Hilton on 21 July 1966. At left is a commemorative congress cachet reading “International Congress of Preventive Dentistry – Athens, 20–24 July 1966”, with a classical head in the centre.
The envelope also bears printed bilingual “ΑΕΡΟΠΟΡΙΚΩΣ / BY AIR MAIL” marking and the congress title in Greek.
