NOTE 1: The Nations motorcycle Grand Prix was the final round of the 1956 motorcycle racing world championship. It took place on September 9 , 1956 at the Monza racetrack in the presence of 120,000 spectators. All classes were scheduled. The 500 race concluded the programme , won by Geoff Duke on Gilera with a one-tenth advantage over his teammate Liberati.
NOTE 2: 500 Miglia di Monza (500 Miles of Monza), was an automobile race held at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Italy in 1957 and again in 1958.
