We read in

(b) Cancellations of the Autonomous Administration.
Type 4: 40-25 mm. double-circle (with double outer circle), with the following inscriptions in Greek, all in white on a dark background: ΠΡΟΣΩΡ. ΕΛΛ. ΔΙΟΙΚ. ΕΠΙΤΡ. at top, ΚΑΣΤΕΛΛΟΡΙΖΟΥ at bottom, cross and 1913 in the centre, no dating device (Fig. 384).
The partly abbreviated inscriptions read in full “Prosorini Elliniki Dioikitiki Epitropi Kastellorizou”, translating “Provisional Hellenic Administrative Commission of Castellorizo”, this being the official title of the autonomous governing body. Current for a very short period in March/April, 1913, and only recorded on Turkish stamps. Colours:seen in LAKE to RED-PURPLE, but may exist in other colours. Very rare on legitimate postally used material, and no cancellations-to-order known.
