NOTE: On the night of December 7-8, 1966, the ferry "Heraklion" sank in the Falconera area, 250 passengers and members of the crew, were lost in the icy waters of the Aegean. Falkonera, or Gerakoulia is a small uninhabited Greek island in the southwestern Aegean Sea, between the island of Milos and the Peloponnese.
