1941.04.05: Cover franked with 2m Farouk & 30m Airmail, tied with CAIRO 5.APR.1941, addressed to Αθήναι 8, Grèce (Athens, Greece). Censored, with violet hexagonal POSTAL CENSOR 89, boxed examiner's B 8827 and bilingual censor tape OPENED BY CENSOR. The letter left one week later from CAIRO A 12.APR.41, sent to ISTANBUL 22.4.1941 attempting to reach Greece via Turkey (because of the German Occupation of the country). Finally, it was returned to the sender (without arrival postmark), bearing the violet straight-line RETURN TO SENDER (in capitals, 4 strikes), RR & VF
