NOTE 1: The “Château de la Fraineuse” is a castle located near Spa in Belgium . It was built by architect Charles Étienne Soubre (1846–1915) in a neoclassical style . It served as the last residence of Kaiser Wilhelm II during World War I, before his abdication and exile to Holland . It was in this castle that the Spa Conference took place in 1920, a diplomatic conference dealing with war reparations owed by the Germans.
NOTE 2. Vasilios E. Vekiarellis ( 1887 - 1944 ) was a Greek journalist and writer. Little is known about the personal life of Vassiliou E. Vecchiarellis. In terms of his work, he worked as a correspondent for Athenian newspapers and served as director of the Athenian News Agency. At the same time, he was one of the founding members Journalists' Union of the Athens Daily Newspapers (ESIEA ), [“ΕΣΗΕΑ” Ένωσις Συντακτών Ημερήσιων Εφημερίδων Αθηνών].
