Franked with 2x3dr+1dr ’Head of King George II’ (Historical set, 1937) regular plus 50lepta ‘Social Providence’ (Heads of Queens Olga and Sophia and 50lepta ‘Allegory of Heath’ (1939) charity stamps, cancelled with ‘ΤΡΙΠΟΛΙΣ 30 XII 40’ postal date-stamp.
Opened and passed by censor locally; backstamped at destination with s.r. ‘ΑΘΗΝΑΙ - ΣΥΣΤΗΜΕΝΑ 2 I 41 –ΑΦΙΞΙΣ’ [Athens Registered, Arrival 2 January 1941] postmark.
