Opened and examined at the local censor office; secured with tape printed in Greek ‘ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΛΟΓΟΚΡΙΣΙΑ’ [Hellenic Censorship] on both sides; stamped with violet single-line cachet texted ‘ΕΞΗΛΕΓΘΗ’ [Examined].
Backstamped on arrival at destination with ‘ΗΡΑΚΛΕΙΟΝ 23.ΝΟΕ.40 ΑΦΙΞΙΣ’ [Athens, Arrival 23 December 1940] date-stamp.
