Three-ring greenish-blue cachet texted ’ΥΠ/ΣΙΣ ΧΩΡ/ΚΗΣ ΦΙΛΙΑΤΩΝ (ΛΟΓΟΚΡΙΣΙΑ) [Filiates Gendarmerie Sub-direction (Censorship)] in belt and crest centrally on commercial printed corner cover to Athens, franked with 2dr. ‘design of the Battle of Salamis’ + 1dr Greek ’Head of King George II’ (Historical set, 1937) regular plus 50lepta ‘Social Providence’ (Heads of Queens Olga and Sophia, 1939) stamps, and cancelled with ‘ΦΙΛΙΑΤΕΣ 1 IV 41’ [Filiates 1 April 1941] date-stamp.
No postal or other indications for arrival in Athens except the single-circled number ‘23’ applied by the delivering postman.
