Backstamped again with same-day different device dated ’ΚΑΛΑΒΡΥΤΑ 27.ΟΚΤ.40’.
Opened and passed by censor on arrival at Athens (final destination); resealed with tape printed ‘Ελληνική Λογοκρισία’ [Hellenic Censorship] tied with single-ring violet cachet texted ‘ΛΟΓΟΚΡΙΣΙΑ ΑΘΗΝΩΝ’ [Athens Censorship], and followed plus unframed ‘E64’ examiner’s number.
Backstamped on arrival in Athens with ‘AΘΗΝΑΙ 1.XΙ.40 ΑΦΙΞΙΣ’ [Athens, Arrival 1 November 1940] 10-line wavy postal marking.
Number ‘6’ black handstamp in small circle, applied by the delivering postman.
