Sender’s details on enclosed card: Archbishop of Ioannina; with handwritten message wishing “the new year Peaceful with triumphs”.
Passed by censor locally with flap secured, and stamped with double-ring violet cachet texted ‘ΛΟΓΟΚΡΙΣΙΑ ΙΩΑΝΝΙΝΩΝ’ [Ioannina Censorship] on both sides.
Postmarked with ‘ΝΕΟΝ ΦΑΛΗΡΟΝ 9 ΙΑΝ 41’ [New Faliron, 9 January 1941] date-stamp; at final destination.
