Postcard bears a British white on blue perforated airmail label; franked with Kenya, Uganda, and Tanganyika 30c. ‘Coronation of George VI and Elisabeth’, 1937), postmarked KAMPALA UGANDA 25 DE 37 [25 December 1937].
The card was stamped in violet-rose by the Exchange Control Office at Thessaloniki, texted ‘ΥΠΗΡΕΣΙΑ ΠΡΟΣΤΑΣΙΑΣ ΕΘΝΙΚΟΥ ΝΟΜΙΣΜΑΤΟΣ’ / [National Currency Protection Service] in belt and ‘ΘΕΣ/ΝΙΚΗ’ [Thessaloniki] with small letters centrally.
Forwarded to final destination and postmarked with blue “ΑΕΡΟΔΡΟΜΙΟΝ ΣΕΔΕΣ / ΕΠΙΤΑΓΑΙ date-stamp (day illegible on blue air mail label) …. XII 37” [Sedes Airport – Money Orders, … December 1937].
