Capital of Drs 200.000.000 in Bank-notes at 7% per year, was divided in 800.000 bonds of Drs 250 and represented by 380.000 titles to bearer.
Issued in Athens on 1st September 1926; serial Number: 166171; printer: “Ετ. Λιθογραφίας & Κυτιοποιίας -Αθηνών” [Athens Lithography and Box Making Company (ELKA)]. Last three coupons (58-60) attached.
The bond bears two affixed stamps, titled “Δ.Ο.Ε.” [(IOC) International Financial Control of Greece's public finances], individually issued in the 20s and the latter in the 30s, and respectively printed/titled ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΔΗΜΟΚΡΑΤΙΑ [Hellenic Republic] and ΒΑΣΙΛΕΙΟΝ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ [Kingdom of Greece]. Both are surcharged with ‘ΛΕΠ. 80 / ΟΓΔΟΗΚΟΝΤΑ’ [80 lepta] value, having been cancelled with difficult to decifer d.r. ‘ΕΘΝΙΚΗ ΤΡΑΠΕΖΑ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ – ΑΘΗΝΑΙ’ [National Bank of Greece, Athens] dated marking.
