In numerical limited edition (2000), this item has the number 729. Nice thematic philatelic document.
Albert Marius Hippolyte Decaris, born May 6, 1901 in Sotteville-lès-Rouen (Seine-Inférieure) and died January 1, 1988 in Paris, is a painter, decorator and engraver French. Burinist renowned for his virtuosity, he also worked in watercolor and ink wash, often to prepare his engravings, and engraved many stamps.
