The Greek Drachma (GRD) is obsolete. It was replaced by the Euro (EUR) on 1 January 2001. One EUR was equivalent to 340,750 GRD. Many Organizations, Banks, Department stores, etc, for advertising purposes and in order to make easier for people to use the euro, issued in “carte de visite” size, plastic cards, converters from Euro to Greek Drachma and opposite, with movable images.
