Note: The newspaper New Europe (1941-1944), was a pro-axis newspaper that was published in Thessaloniki during the German occupation. The first issue was published on April 14, 1941 (German troops entered Thessaloniki on April 9, 1941). In November 1941, New Europe was acquired by Dimitrios Iliadis and Petros Orologas, owners of a publishing house in Athens. The newspaper published articles propagating the Axis victory and the creation of the new order of things that, according to the newspaper, it would create, and turned against the Allies and the Greek guerrillas. Her writing was also marked by strong anti-Semitism and anti-communism .
The fact that sender was Dimitrios Iliadis, the owner of, the of newspaper according the corner cover and the private red cachet, is probably the reason, the cover has not been censored.
