Cover was opened and inspected, then sealed with CONTROLE DU CHANGE / ΕΛΕΓΧΟΣ ΣΥΝΝΑΛΑΓΜΑΤΟΣ tape, tied by censor's manuscript initials in crayon and ΕΞΗΛΕΓΘΗ ΥΠΟ ΤΗΣ ΕΠΙΤΡΟΠΗΣ ΠΡΟΣΤΑΣΙΑΣ ΕΘΝΙΚΟΥ ΝΟΜΙΣΜΑΤΟΣ - ΧΑΝΙΑ - Exchange Control Mark handstamp on the front. ΧΑΝΙΑ cancel on the front and straightline RECOMMANDEE but without any registration label or information, suggesting this was mailed via regular mail. MAINZ -1- 2.9.50 arrival on the back ties censor's tape. Some non-consequential creasing, but nice overall item.
