GREECE 1927 Postal Card franked with a strip of three 30L lithographic definitives, mailed from Messolonghi (ΜΕΣΟΛΟΓΓΙΟΝ 8 ΑΠΡ 27) to Patras. Commercial message. On the front, there is a postage due handstamp (ΕΙΣΠΡΑΚΤΕΟΝ ΤΕΛΟΣ ΔΡ. ΛΕΠΤ.) that has not been filled in. As of April 1st, the use of the Landscapes & Monuments Issue of 1927 was to supersede the previous definitives in use. Also, the postage may have been short 10L. Whether the postage due was assessed is not clear. Pinholes at lower right otherwise Very Fine.
