1870.04.25: Dotted cancellation 2 (Piraeus, type I) tying 10λ (cleaned plates), 20λ (1870, defective) & 40λ (1862-67, defective) on cover sent from ΠΕΙΡΑΙΕΥΣ 25.ΑΠΡ.70 (Piraeus, type II), with small black boxed PD (Payé à Destination = Paid to Destination) to Paris, via ΚΕΡΚΥΡΑ 28.ΑΠΡ.70 (Kerkyra, Corfu, type II), and GRECE St MICHEL 2 14.MAI.70 (blue entry postmark). As the receiver left for England, the cover was redirected to LONDON W.C RA MY.16.70 (black) via LONDON 1L MY.16.70 (red). Marked with black 2 (handstamp) pence, as postage due by the receiver, for the route Paris to London. A very rare postal history item, unfortunately in poor condition
