Greek stamps issued in 1912/1919, overprinted in May 1920 with three-line ‘Διοίκησις Δυτικής Θράκης’ [Administration of Western Thrace]; cancelled in Greek-administrated Western Thrace between 1920 and 1922:
-- ΓΚΙΟΥΜΟΥΛΤΖΙΝΑ [Gümüldjina (Komotini)]: 25l, 50l, 1dr, 2dr, 5dr.
-- ΣΟΥΦΛΙ [Soufli]: 25l.
[In May 1920, Greek forces replaced the inter-allied troops in Western Thrace, while the occupation was expanded to Eastern Thrace two months later, leaving the entire Thrace under Greek administration. Eastern Thrace area though, east of Evros river, was evacuated by the Greek Army in October 1922.]
