GREECE 1915 Grand Depot (of Spirits) & Vin de Santorini Corner Cover franked with a block of four and a single 5L lithographic definitive tied by ΘΗΡΑ 15 ΟΚΤ. 15 date stamp and mailed to Port Said, Egypt. Cover was opened by censor and sealed after inspection with an OPENED BY CENSOR tape which was tied by censor's circular OPENED BY CENSOR handstamp in black. Illegible mark on the front in blue, perhaps censor related. On the back there is a ΠΕΙΡΑΙΕΥΣ 17 ΟΚΤ. 15 transit machine cancel, ALEXANDRIA ? XI 15 transit date stamp and a PORT SAID 4 XI. 15 arrival. Missing back flap and some toning but a very nice thematic philately item regarding the world renowned Santorini wine.
