ΓΡΑΦΕΙΟΝ 8 ΣΕΠ 4 (Military Post Office 8 Sep 48) black circular date stamp over a violet handstamp reading ΛΟΧΟΣ ΣΤΡΑΤΗΓΕΙΟΥ 57ΗΣ ΤΑΞΙΑΡΧΙΑΣ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΙΟΝ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ with Greek Coat of Arms in the center; a more complete strike of this handstamp is on the back, sealing the flap. On the front top there is a boxed miltary slogan ΕΛΛΗΝ ΙΣΟΝ ΗΡΩΣ / ΗΡΩΣ ΙΣΟΝ ΕΛΛΗΝ (Greek Equal Hero, Hero Equals Greek). A bit roughly opened on the left, nice example of military mail during the civil war. Interestingly, no censorship marks.
