Cover opened by Greek censor and with sealed with tape reading ΗΝΟΙΧΘΗ ΥΠΟ ΤΟΥ ΕΞΕΤΑΣΤΟΥ 1526 (Opened by Inspector 1526) tied on the cover by two circular PASSED BY GREEK CENSOR handstamps (hand stamps are parcial as the sealing tape was removed from the back when letter was opened by the recipient). On the front there is a manuscript Langue Francaise indicating the letter was in French and there is a white, blue and red registration label R GRECE THESSALONIKI 966 at top right corner. A small portion at lower right corner in violet reading ΕΛΕΓ(ΧΘΗ). On the back there are a 283 handstamp and an Athens ΑΘΗΝΑΙ ΣΥΣΤΗΜΕΝΑ 26 V 45 ΑΦΙΞΙΣ arrival.
