GREECE Cover franked with a ET & Crown 25L stamp tied by ΑΘΗΝΑΙ ? AΠΡ 17 (ΑΠΟΣΤΟΛΗ) (Athens Dispatch date stamp) sent to Rome, Italy (ROMA 18 IV 18 CENTRO machince arrival cancel on the back). The cover was opened and then sealed with military censor tape reading ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΛΟΓΟΚΡΙΣΙΑ (on the front) - CENSURE HELLENIQUE (on the back) tied on the cover by black ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΛΟΓΟΚΡΙΣΙΑ10 once on the front and twice on the back. On the front there are also two postmen's handstamps 63 in circle and 46 in circle. On the back there is a boxed 18, presumed to be another postal marking. The cover went to Italy where it was opened and then sealed with a VERIFICATO PER CENSURA tape tied on the cover by red BOLOGNA POSTA ESTERA / CENSURA MILITARE on the front and back (as well as the machine Roma arrival on the back). There are two additional Italian censorship marks on the front, one inverted complete strike reading BOLOGNA POSTA ESTERA / VERIFICATO PER CENSURA (33) and just a small portion of a similar handstamp but with censor number (20) at the lower right corner of the cover. Very nice item.
