Unfranked small cover to Athens, Greece from a sublieutenant of cavalry, Liaison officer in the Asia Minor Hellenic Army Headquarters at Inlar Katrantzi area (14-25/8/1921), Turkey (Smyrna and greater area in the country’s Aegean region under Greek administration, 1921-22). Sender’s details (in Greek) on flap: ‘‘Νικολόπουλος Π., Ανθυπίλαρχος, Σύνδεσμος, Στρατιά Μικράς Ασίας, Τ.Τ. 940B” [Postal Sector 940B].
Addressee is Miss Nefeli Despotopoulou, rarely seen on cover’s front side, known along with her two sisters Georgia and Ioanna for having kept correspondence with Greek enlisted men in all fronts from 1912 (Balkan Wars) to 1923 (shortly after the expedition to Turkey).

Postmarked for despatch with rarely seen “ΣΤΡ. ΤΑΧ. ΠΑΡΑΡΤ. 3ον, 24 ΑΥΓ. 21” military date-stamp [Army Postal Annex 3, 24 August 1921], allotted to the Army HQ.
Sender's "ελογοκρίθη" manuscript self-censure certification on reverse.
