MAR 1 7:30PM 1946) tying single 30c. airmail stamp on cover with special oval FIRST FLIGHT U.S. AIR MAIL F.A.M. 27 TO GREECE T.W.A. illustrated cahet in black. The cover was sealed on the back with three single 1945 Christmas seal stamps (Anti-TB). ΑΘΗΝΑΙ 4 ΙV 46 POSTE AERIENNE machine cancel arrival on back. Horizontal sheet corner pair of the "20" on 50dr "Chains" Airmail of Greece (Hel.641) used as postage dues for the "Poste Restante" fee by the Greek Post Office. Of interest is the dark carmine color of the surcharge. Clean and VF.
