[The 7th Indian Brigade (4th Division) was shipped from Italy to Greece in November 1944 as emergency reinforcements to the British Forces to help stabilise the country after the German withdrawal.] It moved from Salonica to Cavalla and FPO 13 opened there on 6th April 1945 and closed on 14th January 1946].
