Following the program, the American official visited Spetsopoula Isle on Saturday afternoon 13.10.1962 escorted by Lt. General D. Theodossiades RHAF, and remained overnight; he left next day to the US via Athens (the visit from Hellenicon airport/Athens to Spetsopoula island and vise-versa was realized on Sikorsky H-19 Chickasaw #275 RHAF helicopter; eight special covers were signed by the pilot and the two VIP onboard).
