[Αϊδίνιον] ΙΕΡΑ ΜΗΤΡΟΠΟΛΙΣ ΗΛΙΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ & ΘΕΙΡΩΝ [Holy Metropolis of Heliopolis & Thira], used as dispatch handstamp on a very rare photocard written at Αϊδίνιον 31 Μαΐου 1919 (Aydin 31-5-19), showing the arrival of the Greeks in Smyrna, the ship PATRIS and the preparation of the landing of the Greek Army (ph. Panos Gheralis Smyrne, probably sold by the ΠΑΤΡΙΩΤΙΚΟΝ ΙΔΡΥΜΑ ΠΕΡΙΘΑΛΨΕΩΣ ΑΠΟΣΤΟΛΗ ΣΜΥΡΝΗΣ =Patriotic Relief Institution Fund, Red Cross). The postcard was forwarded by ΣΤΡΑΤ.
