Passed by the Foreign Mail Censor Office (designated I) in Rome. Metal ‘UFFICIO CENSURA POSTA ESTERA I” stamp applied in black along with rubber boxed “VERIFICATO PER CENSURA” office hand stamp marking and single circle “196/I” examiner’s shown aside in violet.
Greek officers’ mail are seldom found in Italian POW camps.
