Italian King Victor-Emmanuel III 20c. stamp (1916) reprinted on crown watermarked paper (1917); sent to Rhodes in 1919 and overprinted locally with ‘Rodi’. It was placed in circulation on the island in August same year.
[Same type overprints with the 12 names of the other Dodecanese islands were made only in September 1921.]
