Entire folded letter, not pre-paid, written in Greek in Odessa and dated 21 March 1870 "Οδησσός 21 Μαρτίου 1870", bearing the type II postmark ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΥΠΟΛΙΣ (ΤΟΥΡΚΙΑ) 27.ΜΑΡΤ.70 (Istanbul Turkey), sent to ΑΘΗΝΑΙ 30.ΜΑΡΤ.70 (Athens) via ΠΕΙΡΑΙΕΥΣ 30.ΜΑΡΤ.70 (Piraeus). Handwritten rate "40" in red, paid with a 40λ Large Hermes (cleaned plates). Sender's blue oval handstamp "G. VUCINA". The letter was carried from Odessa to Constantinople privately, by forwarding Agent, ex Drossos collection, R & VF
