Greece, Turkey, Smyrna 1920 [WW1]: BRITISH POST OFFICE SMYRNA A 31.MY.20 on 1½d British stamp to BAYONNE BASSES PYRENEES 19.6.20. The postcard, originated from Cordelio, was franked by the sender with 1½d to cover the internal postal fees [to Smyrna] plus those to foreign countries [1d]. From CORDELIO 1 29.5.20 to IZMIR [small unrecorded datestamp in arabic] the postcard was sent through the Ottoman Post Office (operating at the same time with the Greek one) which applied its 'T' handstamp on the upper left part of the postcard.
